Shirin Modaresi, DVM

Dr Shirin Modaresi, a native of Rock Hill, SC, is one of our Saturday relief veterinarians.  She spent 4 years practicing small animal medicine in Georgia before working in Charlotte, NC with Hill's Pet Nutrition in 2014. She received her BS in Biology from USC Honor's College, with a minor in Spanish, before getting an MS in Biology from Winthrop University. Shirin attended veterinary school at the University of Georgia. While in vet school, Shirin did parasitology research on Cytauxzoan felis and founded the Animal Welfare Club.  She also did work with shelters and rescues and has three rescue cats of her own. 

Shirin enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with her family when she's not working, especially her two little boys.
